Paddle, Pedal, Patter Kids Triathlon - Sparks, NV
The Sparks Marina Park is the site for the annual 'Paddle, Pedal, Patter' Kids Triathlon held in July. The race is
designed to introduce boys and girls ages 12 and younger to the exciting sport of triathlon in a non-competitive
environment.

The future Olympic Triathletes and Duathletes will be featured in this kids triathlon and duathlon. Kids from 7-14
year in age from all across Ohio will be competing in this event. Course is closed to all traffic during the race. All
finishers receive a custom finishers medal. Kids 7-10: Triathlon: 100 yard swim - 3.5 mile bike - 1/2 mile run
Duathlon: 1/4 mile run - 3.5 mile bike - 1/2 mile run Awards: 3 deep in 7, 8, 9 and 10 age groups Kids 11-14:

This Fourth annual kids triathlon is scheduled for Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the Greene County Parks and
Recreation Center. The event will offer three different distances for the different age categories. Each child will be
a winner when crossing the finish line and will receive a goodie bag including event t-shirt and other sponsored
items. Finisher medals will be given out at the finish line and special awards will be given to the top finishers for
each age.
