McDonald's Chicago Triathlon - Chicago, IL
This is the largest event of its kind attracting over 1,000 youngsters. Open to boys & girls 7-14 years, the event
has individual & relay team competition. In 2007 the event was sold out and registration was not available at the
Multisport Expo. If you want to race in 2008, be sure to register early!

Dew the Tri for Kids Triathlon - Springfield, IL
The first event of the Springfield Tri Fest is on July 26, 2008 at 10am. This event for children aged 5 to 13 is
called the National City Bank Dew the Tri for Kids. This wonderful event, an intermediate course race, for kids
starts with a 100 yard swim inside Nelson Center at Lincoln Park. The kids then bike one mile inside the Park
followed by a 1000 yard run. An awards ceremony for boys and girls will follow after the last runner crosses the
finish line.
